Kommerz is an interdisciplinary design agency based in Utrecht and Schiedam, founded by Bram Nijssen and Marcel van den Berg in 2010. In our combined practice we aim to be at the intersection of graphic design, technology, and the liberal arts.

We work for national and international clients in the varied domain of culture and sectors such as care and welfare, education and science, and the corporate sector. Kommerz specializes in graphic and editorial design, content strategy, web design and web development. Our self-initiated projects include the online television platform Volksrekorders (2006-2010), the prose poem The M (2008-present), and the magazine Non-Issue (2012-2020).
