Kommerz is an interdisciplinary design agency based in Utrecht and Schiedam, founded by Bram Nijssen and Marcel van den Berg in 2010. In our combined practice we aim to be at the intersection of graphic design, technology, and the liberal arts.

We work for national and international clients in the varied domain of culture, and sectors such as care and welfare, and education and science. Kommerz specializes in graphic and editorial design, copywriting and content strategy, and web design and web development. Our self-initiated projects include the online television platform Volksrekorders (2006-2010), the sample poem The Substitutes (2008-present), and the magazine Non-Issue (2013-present).
